LAPORAN PENUH TRIP KE BUSAN ANJURAN KELAB KEMBARA MACHAN..haha..sapelah bg nama ni

Just spent a glorious 5 days in sunny Busan.Hot sun, cool ocean, gritty sand, salty air..wuu

Fri -
Arrived at Busan station from Ulsan University..carik tempat penginapan...(cari tempat untuk letak barang- barang je sebab kitorang bermalam di tepi pantai....sejjuuuukk..)

Sat -
The highlight of the trip was the day we spent at the most popular beach in Korea, Haeundae Beach.Contrary to our expectations, the water was clear, shallow, and seemed clean enough. There were tons of kids and teens in the ocean hanging on to inner tubes riding the waves. All we had to deal with was lots and lots of hot sun =)
At Haeundae Beach, no one brings their own sun umbrella to the beach. They're all rented for 5,000 won, resulting in the sand being covered with identical red and white umbrellas advertising McDonalds and Lotteria.
we also went on a boat tour to the Orudo Islets. They are really big enough to be called islands - really they're only giant rocks sticking out of the water. It was a pretty interesting ride. we paid like twelve bucks to get on this little boat with a whackload of koreans - we were the only waegooks (foreigners) on the ride. i like boats - a lot- and was actually more excited than i let on. i was, however, a little worried about the cold wind that would be attacking us while sitting on the open deck.We were expecting the wind, the people, maybe even a little splash of the cold water, but we were not expecting to be cast as extras in a re-make of "the Birds" .I've seen it a bunch of times but never wanted to be IN it.The first half of our boat ride was exactly like the parts of the movie where the birds are flying towards you in the audience and you feel like they're going to come flying out of the screen - only this time they were real.
this is nothing, there were hundreds of them...
petang kitorang lepak kat Songjeong Beach..The best beach in Busan is SanJeong beach which was nearby the temple. This beach is little bit north of the city so is doesn't have the artificial vibe the other major beaches give off. The high hills and lush vegatation give it a more exotic and tropical feeling as well. Sanjeong has a sand spit that goes into the sea so the waves break far away which makes this the best spot for surfing and Bogey boarding. I had badly burned myself at Haeundae but with the overcast weather I figured I could spend a couple hours swimming without doing to much damage but we cant cos it was 6 o'clock that time so we were not allowed to swim that time..The weather was perfect - hot and sunny with a cool breeze by the water. We walked along the beach with our toes in the sand and water, taking pictures and people watching..malam macam biasa..lepak di tepi pantai for the world's greatest nap....

Sun -
We went to Gwangalli Beach, famous for its nighttime view of the Gwangan bridge, the longest bridge in Korea..The day was sunny and so some of us really had no other option but to spend the day swimming. The beach was not crowded at all except for a large group of kids who arrived at the beach for a little field trip. The water was a bit chilly at first but I quickly got used to it..
pas mandi pg Me-World..main roller-coaster..really had agreat time there..
A trip to Busan would not be complete without a trip to the Busan Aquarium..Of course, we had to walk through the gift shop to get out of the aquarium, so we had a few silly moments before we left..
malam - pantai..sejuk

Mon -
Like every other city in Korea, Busan has a ton of parks and hiking trails. We visited a less known trail in Amnam park. It twisted around the coast of Songdo beach and we had beautiful foliage on one side, rocks, boats and the ocean on the other. Reminded me of home. we hiked down onto some rocks and then had to walk up about 1000 steps in 34 degree whether. No prob.
Finally, there is the city itself. We took a lot of pictures of crazy signs and sights but you'll have to wait to see that.
We also went to Busan Tower, the highest structure in Busan to check out the view. We went there at night so it prevented us from seeing the whole city but the view was still nice.We then spent some time in the major shopping district of Busan looking for bargains.
